What are the differences between the Refresh and Plus Plans?

Refresh and Plus Plans are both full-service plans, which means that InterArt Studios will manage and update all aspects of your site per an agreed upon schedule. This allows you to focus on running your business. With a Refresh Plan, we will place text only. With a Plus Plan, we will place text and graphics. These updates involve placement of edited text and appropriate GIFs or JPEGs only. Copy and production fees will apply when applicable.

What format do my text files need to be in?

Your text files need to be in ASCII format. Certain files may be allowable in other formats, such as Microsoft Word or Excel, depending on how your site is constructed and how your files are being transmitted. Please consult support.

What format do my graphics files need to be in?

Your graphics files need to be in either GIF or JPEG format, properly sized for placement. Completed artwork will also be accepted in most pixel- or vector-based graphic formats, although conversion fees will apply.

Can I submit completed animations for placement?

Yes. We accept animated GIFs or Macromedia Flash files. You may also submit individual GIFs for compilation into animated GIFs, and GIFs or JPEGs to be utilized as per JavaScript or Java requirements. Completed artwork will also be accepted in most pixel- or vector-based graphic formats, although conversion fees will apply.

What about audio and video?

If your site utilizes audio or video files which require periodic updating, your development agreement will outline specific parameters. Placement of audio and video files is usually included with Plus Plans, however there are fees charged for conversion and editing if necessary. Please contact support for further information.

How do I transmit files?

Utilizing email, you may send us text files in either the body of the email or as an attachment and graphics files may be sent as an attachment, depending on their format. Utilizing anonymous ftp, you may send any file though an ftp program or through our custom ftp browser interface. CDs, DVDs, or Zip Disks may also be utilized. Please consult support for the preferred method for your situation.

How do I handle submitting non-digital materials?

We will scan and convert your reflective images for a minimal charge as long as the original size is less than 8.5 x 14. Sizes up to 11 x 17, slides and negatives can also be handled, although a surcharge will apply.

What if I don't have the in-house capabilities to design and produce?

Plus plans include the placement of properly designed and produced elements. If you do not have the time or in-house capabilities to develop elements to update your site, InterArt offers complete capabilities. Full-service clients are given priority involving our design and production services, per our Design and Production Service Plan – almost as if we were your own in-house studio. Please consult support for current rate information.

What are the limits for periodic updating?

Your periodic limits will depend on your site requirements and quantity of data to be placed. Some sites are updated quarterly, while others require monthly updating. Agreements for time-sensitive sites which require weekly or even daily updating are available to meet your requirements, at an additional fee. Your specific limits will be agreed upon and outlined in your development agreement.

How do I change from a Refresh account to a Plus account?

Since both accounts required that you have us develop or upgrade your site, you may switch at the end of any contract term with 30 days notice – without incurring additional costs – as long as you stay within the original plan. Any changes to your plan will incur an upgrade fee.

Can I change from a full-service account to a self-service account?

Yes, as long as switch at the end of the contract term with 30 days notice and are current on your account. However, a new setup fee will apply. You will then have access to your site via a custom control panel and must manage the site files and assets yourself.
